Reverend Arlise Carson Bio

"Called Into This Time for God's Purpose" - Acts 26:16-18

The Reverend Arlise Carson is a native of Portsmouth, Virginia.  She is happily married to the Rev. Tiate (tee-ah-tey) Carson, a native of Detroit, MI who she serves with in ministry.  The Carsons have two beautiful daughters, Bria and Imani.

Reverend Arlise graduated from Norfolk State University with a B.A. in Political Science Pre-Law.  She received her Master of Professional Studies in Urban Ministry and Master of Divinity from Nyack College Alliance Theological Seminary.  She also received her Master of Science in Education/Special Education Childhood from Touro College Graduate School of Education and Psychology in New York.   With determination,     she     continued  to  further  her education  by earning    several masters degrees  and currently working towards the  completion of her Ed.D. with a focus in Curriculum & Instruction. Rev. Arlise is a former teacher, drop-out prevention specialist, dean, principal and Director of Curriculum and Instruction.  She currently serves as an Assistant Superintendent in the Nassau County Public School System. She also operates a very successful NY based graphic art business (www.arlisecarson.com) in which she produces unique artistry and paraphernalia designs that can be seen across the nation.

Rev. Carson has served with her husband in ministry for nearly fifteen years in both Texas and New York. She and her husband attend and serve at the Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral of NY in Queens, NY under the anointed leadership of Pastors Floyd and Elaine Flake.  Her husband currently serves as the Minister of Stewardship and Development, Minister to Men, Intercessory Prayer Service Facilitator and Worship Leader at the Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral of NY.

During her ministerial journey, she has discovered her greatest passion is to love, glorify and please God.  She has been destined to build up, empower and set free women free from the power of darkness through Jesus Christ.   She ministers a radically relevant message of salvation, deliverance and non-compromised truth from the word of God.  She is a woman that earnestly perseveres to walk in the excellence of God, so that she may glorify the Lord in all she does.  She has truly been "Called into This Time for God’s Purpose." She attributes all she is in Christ to the love, grace and mercy of God that continues to make all things possible in her life.

The "Seeds" Didn't Work!

I am  here  today  only  by the grace of God through Christ Jesus!   After surviving  years of  sexual abuse,  tormenting  thoughts,  and demonic attacks, I  am  still  standing through Christ!  Let it be known that WE HAVE a great God who is stronger,  more powerful,   more  knowledgeable  and  more  present   than  Satan.   He is the "GREAT I AM" and "WE ARE"   more   than   conquerors through Christ Jesus  who  loves  us.   I would  like to  personally  invite you to follow my blog as I share on various topics which include but are not limited to discussions on why the destructive seeds did not AND will not work.

Why I am in love with Him . . .

The Ultimate Love Story . . .

Our  heavenly Father sent His Son  Jesus Christ to die  for our sins and if  we believe  and confess with  our hearts and mouths, we will be saved by this ultimate sacrifice of love  (John 3:16)  I  am  grateful  today  that  the Lord has directed you  to  this site to read a story of  true   recovery,  redemption  and  restoration.  The  Lord  continues   to  be gracious to me.  He has not allowed Satan nor his imps to triumph over me  and for that I am grateful.  I can tell  you my  story because I no longer walk  in  fear  of  what the enemy will do to me.  I remain  alert  and pray without ceasing,  but the  difference  now  is  that I have peace  in  my   spirit.   Like   many   of  us,  you  also  have   been  purchased at a price that no person can afford.  The question is, "Do you reflect your value?"  I haven't always been able to answer  this question with an astounding,  "Yes,"  but now I can.  My hope is that by the time you finish reading some of  the  pages  from my journey to  recovery,  you will be   empowered to  think with a   victorious  mind, equipped to walk with confidence in our God and eased  in your heart and mind about what appears to be larger than your God.  Remember, He's bigger, stronger and able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us.  Walk in Victory my friend.
